In this meeting, we aimed to discuss several topics, such as adaptation and resilience to climate change, as well as risk management. We also addressed the interpretation of the territory, community social organizations, and their impact on the areas in which they operate. We discussed the self-construction of the territory, the planning and development of a neighborhood, the appropriation of space, and community work from the perspective of territorial identity. Additionally, we explored the topic of hillsides and the right to the city, including the origins of these areas, human rights, dignified housing, and the realities faced by women and other experiences in these regions.
